What Is the Difference Between Events and Announcements on Athens Patch?

Want to share information on Patch? It's easy to do, here is all you need to know!

Patch is a great avenue for readers to share announcements and upcoming events with the community. We love to see our readers posting on the site! Please remember the following suggestions when posting on Patch: Think about it like this -- if it is something other community members can attend on only specific dates, then it is an event. If it is information community members can use to sign up for ongoing classes or pre-register for events, it is an announcement. Other announcements about accomplishments, engagements, births and deaths are always welcome as well. If you have an event you would like added to our event calendar, please click here. If you have news or information you would like to share in our announcement section, please …

Athens Today--January 26

We may be voting on a referendum in March. Thanks, Frank, Bill, Keith, Chuck, and, most of all, Doug.
