If you don't have tickets to Garrison Keillor, too bad, you won't be going to see him tonight at the UGA Performing Arts Center. It's been sold out for weeks. A new offering at Full Bloom gives mamas a fun, purposeful night out.
Mamas, I had a truly great time Tuesday night. Full Bloom now offers Moms Time Out, a once-a-month gathering for mothers to swap struggles and success stories about this motherhood gig we’ve all signed up for. Page McCormick, co-owner of reBlossom Mama Baby resale shop, organized the evening’s discussion about “peaceful parenting.” We gathered in the Full Bloom living room: snacks and drinks to share, a welcoming circle, easy introductions, big smiles, and small groups to dive into stories about conflict with our kids and how we try to swim those choppy waters of parenting. Despite the important topic, the energy was lighthearted. Moms felt physically lighter, too, without a diaper bag slung over a shoulder or a little one trying to stay …
