The two of them are now in an underground bunker in Midland, Ala. The boy, identified only as Ethan, suffers from ADHD and Asperger's Syndrome. Police are speaking into a PVC pipe to communicate with the man, Jimmy Lee Dykes. His motive is unclear, as are his demands. According to local police, the boy is unharmed. Ten years ago, the U.S. owned around 50 drones - now, that number is closer to 7,000, with no hint of slowing down. According to Reuters, President Barack Obama and Afghanistan's President Hamid Karzai met to discuss "the handover of combat operations in Afghanistan to Afghan forces." The transition should be complete by 2014, with a few residual forces left behind, according to President Obama. "Afghans will have full responsibility for their security," he said, "and this war will come to a responsible end." You may not know this, but Kerry was instrumental in changing the way that Clarkston, Ga., dealt with its refugee population.
