'Bows For Bowman' Created For Woodstock Teen Critically Injured in Hit-and-Run

A Facebook page has been created for the Woodstock teenager who remains in critical condition after she was critically injured in a hit-and-run in Athens over the weekend. Bows For Bowman already has over 2,500 fans and has asked everyone to pray for the teenager. Emily Bowman, 19, a Kennesaw State University student, was in Athens to attend a friend's birthday party. As she walked with a companion on the grassy shoulder of Oak Street just after 3 a.m. Saturday, a pickup truck hit her and fled the scene. She remains in a coma at Athens Regional Medical Center, where she was taken after the incident. Charges are expected to be filed any day now, according to a story in the Athens Banner-Herald.
