Vision Video's Broad Street Flagship Store Will Close
Other stores in Georgetown and in Homewood Hills will remain open.
One of Athens' original video stores will close, according to an Athens Banner Herald story. Vision Video will close its Broad Street store by the end of next month, the story says. The store has been in business on Broad since 1986, but lately revenues haven't kept pace with expenses, co-owner Charles Seward told the newspaper. The company's two other Clarke County locations, in Georgetown and Homewood Hills, will remain open. Both are thriving, says the newspaper story. There's also a Vision Video in Oconee County.
