Bogart Auto Dealership Expanding with New Parking
A variance has been requested to allow 125 parking spaces on a large Old Monroe Road lot.
A multi-brand auto dealership off Atlanta Highway in Bogart is expanding to a large lot across the street and has requested a zoning variance to allow for 125 parking spaces. The variance at 135 Old Monroe Road has been requested for employee and customer parking for the Georgia Square Pontiac Buick Volkswagen Mercedes dealership, said Cherie Dalton, a planning tech for the Athens-Clarke County Planning Department. A hearing on the variance is set for 3 p.m. Dec. 12 at the 120 W. Dougherty Street Governmental Building. The lot was purchased in May by TT of Bogart LLC for $235,000, according to online property records.
