Two High Schoolers Arrested in BB-Gun Incidents
Two young men from Athens Christian charged with various Eastside shootings.
Car windows were shattered, drivers were terrorized, pedestrians were shot with BB's and people on the Eastside of Athens were apprehensive about going outside. Until Friday, when two young men who attend Athens Christian School were charged with aggravated assault in a series of shootings with a BB gun. According to a story in the Athens Banner Herald, the two were booked into the Clarke County Jail on Friday morning. Charged were 18-year-old Charles Anthony Horton of Twin Creek Road in Winterville and Joshua Grey Carney, 17, of Township Lane in Athens. Both are seniors at Athens Christian School.
