Rape Reported at Westside Athens Apartment
A 35-yar-old woman told police she was assaulted by two men she knew.
Athens police are investigating a reported rape that occurred over the last weekend of 2012, according to a news release from the police department. A 35-year-old woman told police that two men she knew had been let into her apartment. The suspects maneuvered her into a bedroom and forced her to have sex with them. The victim did not report use of a weapon and did not sustain serious physical injury, according to the release.
