I recommended using a rebounder in my Ten Minutes, Find Them! article. I’ve always been about research so here are some study results to spur you on. It's not rocket science, but... A NASA report in The American Physiological Society included a study demonstrating that for similar levels of heart rate and oxygen consumption, you're getting a better workout by jumping on a trampoline than by running. This is due to acceleration/deceleration forces of the trampoline-like jumping motion. The study gets into G-force and beyond, but suffice it to say, it's good news for those wishing they could run but their body is pleading with them not to because of some previous injury.
