Selling Prescription Pills = the Federal Pen for 68-Year-Old

Banned from Elbert and four other Northeast Georgia counties in 2010, Marshall Asbury Bradford moved to Athens and continued peddling prescription pills illegally, according to a story in the Athens Banner Herald.

He admitted selling medication from his Oak Creek home, the story says. For his activities, he was sentenced to 37 months in prison and two years supervision afterwards.

From 1988 until 2008, Bradford, 68, served five different state prison terms, the story says. During a search of his Athens home, police found a huge stash of Xanax, digital scales and $7,000 in cash.
