UGA Student Robbed on Lumpkin Street
The UGA student wanted a ride to the Baptist Student Union on Lumpkin Street.
From the UGA Police Website: Early Sunday morning, a UGA student was walking south toward campus when a white, four-door sedan stopped and the three occupants offered him a ride. They headed toward his destination, the Baptist Student Union on Lumpkin Street.
As he started to get out of the car, one of the passengers produced a handgun and robbed the victim of his cell phone and wallet.
The student described the three as black men, about 5’10” to 6’ tall, with slim/lean builds. The driver had shoulder-length dreadlocks and was wearing a white t-shirt. The front seat passenger (who produced the handgun) also had shoulder length dreadlocks and wore a dark navy or black t-shirt. The rear seat passenger had a short afro.
